 About Our Chef 

The seeds of Georgia Smith’s culinary career were planted long ago.  The aromas that wafted through the home of her grandmother began to cultivate her interest in cooking as a very young girl.  As the wonderfully southern head chef of Club Windward, she takes great pleasure in the knowledge that her art provides nourishment not only for the body but for the soul, much like the food grown in the garden of her grandmother.

Under her direction, the staff prepares homemade specialties that with creative refinement become chic and sophisticated.  The intensely personal effort that they make reflects the joy they derive from sharing their passion for food with others.  The food is seasonal, well-sourced, fresh and delicious.  A great deal of emphasis is placed on quality, technique, timing and most especially our trademark artful presentation.  Georgia’s down to earth, gracious nature and relaxed approach to planning is contagious to all brides who sit down with her to plan their wedding celebration.
